Engeetech is a dynamic B2B tradeshow for engineering & industrial goods, spanning the critical business hubs of Kolkata, Chennai and Bangalore. It aims to create an interactive forum for global business in the areas of engineering and industrial products and machinery. The first trade show is at Kolkata, Science City Grounds, during November 18-21, 2010.
Concurrent to promoting B2B business, Engeetech is hosting 'IDEAS' - bringing Innovation, Design, Entrepreneurship and Articulation together aiming to be a knowledge sharing symposium. It has been conceived to provide technical direction for the future of production, technology and entrepreneurship.
The Kolkata conference begins with a technical discourse on "Mining", a key component of Primary Sector of the economy and thereafter, in a logical flow , moves to the Secondary Sector with deliberations on "Steel"- the base material of the Engineering Industry. The ideas and innovations in Steel making are explained and showcased and contrasted with the technology of yester years. Thereafter the conference focuses on various components of Light & Heavy Engineering- Bearings, Castings & Forgings, Cables & Wires, Industrial Fasteners, Material Handling Equipment, Machine Tools etc. Though remaining focused on production and technology the conference covers Policy and Production Incentives also.
The conference invites papers that highlight the need for embracing New Ideas and Innovations in Production and Engineering, Use of Clean & Energy Efficient Technology, use of Information Technology and any related scientific and academic endeavors. The paper presenters I.e speakers would have an unique opportunity of demonstrating their ideas and innovations before a conglomerate of business from across the country.
